Graded-stakes winners Winchell Thoroughbreds LLC's Tenfold (Curlin) and C R K Stable's Midcourt (Midnight Lute) and Grade 1-placed Bodexpress (Bodemeister), campaigned by Top Racing LLC, Global Thoroughbreds LLC and GDS Racing Stable, were added Sunday to the formal list of invitees to the Jan. 25 GI Pegasus World Cup World Cup at Gulfstream Park.
Winner of the GII Jim Dandy S. at three, Tenfold added a victory in the GIII Pimlico Special last season. In 2019, Midcourt reeled off four consecutive victories, including the GIII Native Diver S. at Santa Anita Nov. 23. He was third last time out in the Dec. 28 GII San Antonio S. Rounding out the trip, Bodexpress, runner-up in the GI Florida Derby at Gulfstream last season, annexed a pair of wins at Gulfstream Park West this fall before finishing third in the GIII Harlan's Holiday S. Dec. 14.
Three horses that had been on the reserve list moved up to the main body of the race-recent GIII Mr. Prospector winner Diamond Oops (Lookin At Lucky); Grade I-placed True Timber (Mineshaft) and War Story (Northern Afleet), victorious in the GIII Harlan's Holiday last time out. Maximum Security (New Year's Day), Gift Box (Twirling Candy), Roadster (Quality Road) and Bravazo (Awesome Again) are no longer on the list of invitees.
In the GI Pegasus World Cup Turf, Amerman Racing's Admission Office (Point of Entry), who was second in the GII Ft. Lauderdale S. Dec. 14, and Michael Dubb, Madaket Stables LLC, Wonder Stables and Bethlehem Stables LLC's French Group 3 scorer Sacred Life (Fr) (Siyouni {Fr}) were moved up from the also-eligible list to the main list of invitees.
New to the list of Turf invitees are Pin Oak Stable's multiple graded-stakes winning Synchrony (Tapit); Jordan Wycoff's Tusk (Tapit), who annexed Saturday's GIII Tropical Park Turf; and Calumet Farm and John Anthony Stables LLC's American Tattoo (Arg) (Not For Sale {Arg}), coming off a recent score in Gulfstrema's H. Allen Jerkens S. Dec. 28.
